Vivid Live

Commissioned by the Sydney Opera House Creative Studio, artist and creative director Sam Chirnside was invited to reimagine the iconic architecture of the Sydney Opera House for Vivid LIVE, the venue's internationally recognised annual festival of music, art and ideas.

Developed as a series of abstract artworks, the project explored the relationship between form, light and perception, distilling the Opera House's distinctive geometry into a contemporary visual language. The resulting works were created to celebrate the cultural significance of the landmark while offering a fresh artistic interpretation for the festival's identity.
